VCC 2023 Recap

By Kassi Burke

We can’t believe VCC 2023 has come and gone. We spend all year planning and looking forward to this event and then it is over in an instant! We wanted to provide a recap for our customers that couldn’t join us this year with the hope that they will be able to join next year. Plans are already in the works for VCC 2024 – stay tuned for more details to come.

What You Missed

VCC 2023 kicked off with a Welcome Reception at the Hilton’s Flamingo Terrace on Monday evening. Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as well as music and beach games as the sun set into the Gulf along the Clearwater Beach shores.

The first full day of sessions began with a General Session led by our COO, John Nugent. He welcomed customers and sponsors and shared our latest updates, achievements, priorities, and plans going forward. The rest of the day was spent learning in educational sessions, networking with sponsors and other customers, troubleshooting in our open product lab, and improving use of the system with one-on-one consulting appointments. On Tuesday evening, the VCC attendees set sail on a beautiful yacht for a dinner cruise around Clearwater.

Wednesday was another busy day at VCC! More educational and collaborative sessions, one-on-one consulting appointments, open lab time, and delicious meals to encourage networking amongst fellow Visibility customers, sponsors, and team members.

Some of the highlights from this year’s sessions included a fan favorite session on New Features and Functionality in Vis led by Patti, two Business Intelligence sessions including an overview and a deep dive led by Maddy in our UK office, and a customer presentation by AJ Manufacturing on Customizing Vis Shop Floor Dashboard. There were also sessions on Material Resource Planning, integrating your CAD system, making AP profitable with rebates, master production scheduling in Vis & Schedule Advisor, Vis solutions to manage your shop floor and Vis tools to automate manual tasks without custom coding to name just a few!

Thank You To Our Sponsors

Before we wrap up our recap, we wanted to thank both our sponsors and customers for making this event possible. This year we were so excited to welcome four of our Visibility partners to VCC, each serving a unique function that can provide major benefits and time and costs savings to your business.

  • QBuild, our CAD integration partner.
  • Corpay, our payment automation partner.
  • Tipalti, providing an accounts payable invoice automation solution with OCR functionality.
  • Avalara, our sales tax partner.

Thank you sponsors for your attendance at this year’s VCC! The Visibility Team and our customers enjoyed spending time attending sponsor-led sessions and networking with you at evening events, meals, and in between sessions.

Thank You To Our Customers

Most importantly, thank you to the many customers that joined us for this year’s VCC. Without your partnership and loyalty, this event would not be possible. We are so grateful for the customers that join us year after year as well as the newcomers. We believe that there is something for everyone at VCC and we hope that our attendees came away from the event with more knowledge about Visibility, a network of Visibility users to share ideas and best practices with, and a plan for how to implement new functionality, automation and business process improvements for their organization.

We are already looking forward to next year's customer conference! If you have any suggestions for what you’d like to see at VCC 2024 please let your account manager know or email us at customerconference@visibility.com.
