Professional Services
Implementation and consulting by the people who build the product.
Consulting from people who know the shop floor
Our professional services team consists of experts in manufacturing, ERP software and business processes. Whether you are a current customer, evaluating our solutions, or simply want an independent expert to review your business processes, we have someone with the know-how to make your business more efficient.
What professional services cover
Business process analysis with a written feedback and recommendations report.
Finding and eliminating the bottlenecks and inefficiencies that cost you cycle time.
Engagements scoped to your needs: as limited or as expansive as the problem requires.
No outsourced consultants, ever: the person analyzing your processes works for Visibility.
The deliverable is efficiency you can measure: cost, cycle time and throughput, with recommendations you can act on.
Implementation by the people who build the product
An ERP implementation is where the money is made or lost, which is why we never handed ours to integrators.
The Implementation Methodology
Your project runs on a structured seven-step methodology proven across to-order manufacturers, from kickoff and business requirements analysis through data conversion, training, piloting and go-live. Typical timelines run four to six months, and since 1988 no Visibility implementation has failed.
Who Runs Your Project
A Visibility project manager leads the engagement, typically someone who has implemented the system at more than forty companies before yours, backed by the same team that builds the product. There is no integrator or subcontractor standing between you and the people who wrote the software.
Pilots Before Go-Live
Functional pilots test each area independently first, then an integrated pilot simulates your complete order cycle, from request through quoting, production, delivery, invoicing and cash, with all users participating before anything goes live. A post-implementation review sixty to ninety days after go-live closes the loop, and training sessions throughout run two hours or less so your people can implement an ERP and still do their jobs.
Business Process Analysis and Consulting
The same team consults outside implementations: business assessments that walk your quoting, engineering, planning, shop floor and accounting flows, then deliver a written feedback and recommendations report. Engagements scope to the problem, as limited or as expansive as it requires, and no outsourced consultant is ever part of the team.
Common questions about professional services
How long does an implementation take?
Four to six months is typical. The methodology is specific to to-order manufacturing, which is the reason for both the speed and the track record: zero failed implementations since 1988.
Who runs the project?
A Visibility project manager who has typically implemented the system at over forty companies, backed by the team that builds the product. No subcontractors, no integrator in the middle.
Can we get process consulting without an implementation?
Yes. Whether you run Visibility ERP, are evaluating it, or simply want an independent expert review, a business assessment is available on its own, with a written recommendations report you keep either way.
Ready when you are.
Bring your data and workflows. We'll show them running on Visibility ERP.
