Quality, labor and maintenance on the same job number

A shop floor generates status from a lot of directions at once: what a work order says should be happening, what a labor ticket says an operator actually did, what a quality inspection found, and what a maintenance log says about the machine that ran it. Work in Process

Every work order links back to the sales order that generated it, forming a job hierarchy that can be created directly from a sales order in one action for both single and multi-level assemblies. Material, deliveries, scheduling and posted costs are visible from one screen through integrated drill-down, and the module supports mixed-mode and to-order manufacturing side by side, including paperless work order production.

Shop Floor Control

Routings define primary and alternate work centers, with man or machine resource costing and the ability to manage subcontracted operations. Scheduling runs finite, infinite, backward or forward as the job requires, and work orders can be split or have their routing content changed mid-flight to meet a critical need without starting over.

Quality Management

Closed-loop quality control runs on six linked items: procedures and work instructions kept current online, process attribute data collection, employee skills and tools linked to each process step, tooling lifecycle management, online corrective action requests, and strict document revision control, the structure an ISO-compliant process needs end to end.

Labor Management

Time is captured from hourly timesheets to web-based collection for remote employees, distributed to the sales order, work order, project or department it belongs to. The same data supports both production job costing and the HR administration side of the business without a second entry process.

Maintenance Operations

Equipment service calls, failures and repairs are tracked against the same as-manufactured configuration the shop floor built, with contract types and coverage cataloged alongside the equipment record, so a service history and a production history describe the same machine rather than two separate files.

Data Collection

Barcode-identified collection covers kit completion, production receipts, physical inventory counts and cycle counts, and integrates with third-party warehouse management systems through the same open architecture, connected on the floor itself through VisMobile.
