Analysis built for manufacturers, not analysts
Business Intelligence should answer the question you have not thought to ask yet, not just the one on last month's report. Visibility Business Intelligence ships as ready-to-use analyzers over your own ERP data, cross tabs, pie charts, line graphs and drill-through to the transaction that created the number, so a manager can slice a cube instead of waiting on a custom report request.
How it works
The Project Analyzer views and slices project accounting data across cross tabs, pie charts, line graphs and bar charts, drilling into increasing levels of detail.
The Purchasing Analyzer and Sales Analyzer track buying performance and order details by territory, division or rep, with drill-through to the source transaction.
The Inventory Analyzer lets users define and share their own queries and metrics, surfacing trends standard inventory reports do not show.
Ad-hoc, drag-and-drop analysis runs on existing IT infrastructure and reduces load on transactional systems rather than adding to it.

From aggregate to transaction without leaving
The test of a manufacturing dashboard is what happens when a number surprises you. Each analyzer below is a pre-linked data mart built to answer a specific business function's questions, so the analysis starts where the decision is made.
Project Analyzer
Key data from project accounting renders as cross tabs, pie charts, line graphs or bar charts, with a cube that navigates through increasing levels of detail and slices across dimensions on demand.
Purchasing and Sales Analyzers
Purchasing performance and sales indicators, order details by territory, division or rep, drill through from any chart to the transaction behind it, with the same cube navigation available across both.
Inventory Analyzer
Bar charts, line graphs, pie charts, spreadsheets and dashboards present inventory performance the way it is actually managed, with users able to define and share their own queries and metrics rather than waiting on a standard report to cover a new question.
Ad-Hoc Analysis and Enterprise BI Integration
Drag-and-drop analysis runs on existing IT infrastructure rather than adding a new one. For teams standardized on enterprise BI tools, the module integrates with Microsoft Power BI, and IQ Plus reports can link to Crystal Reports or SSRS through dashboard connections; natural-language querying, asking in plain English for overdue work orders by work center, is in pilot with customers now.
Common questions about business intelligence
Does it integrate with Power BI?
Yes, optionally. The built-in dashboards and KPI visualization stand on their own, and customers who want enterprise BI on top can connect Power BI to the same data.
Do we need to build a data warehouse?
No. The analyzers ship as pre-linked data marts on Microsoft SQL Server analytic tools, built for specific business functions, so the modeling work is already done.
Is the data live?
Yes. Dashboards read production data, and every aggregated figure drills down to the transactions beneath it, so the number on the tile and the number in the module always agree.
