IQ Plus is Visibility ERP's own report writer, built to replace the pile of one-off custom reports every ERP eventually accumulates. It runs entirely through the browser, so a report built on one device deploys on any device, with no client software to install or upgrade.
How it works
Over 800 standard reports ship with the system, and every one is modifiable in IQ Plus rather than fixed, from shop travelers and dispatch lists to invoices and lot traces.
Drill-down inquiries let a user navigate from a summarized view into progressively more detailed inquiries or printed forms, one click at a time.
Output renders as HTML, PDF, XML or Excel, with a scheduling and distribution engine that emails or files a report on whatever cadence the business needs.
Reports run server-side, so performance is consistent regardless of the client device, and multiple reports can run and be developed at the same time.

The line between a report and an inquiry blurs usefully: drill-down hyperlinks link to related areas across the system, and user-created inquiries package multidomain information into a single view, so a summary is a click away from the detail behind it.
Output and Distribution
Reports render to Excel, HTML, PDF or XML, and the scheduling and distribution engine determines format and delivery, whether that is an ad hoc screen inquiry, a nightly printed report or a daily PDF emailed automatically.
Browser-Based Architecture
Nothing installs on the client. Reports run on a server-based engine and are saved as XML definitions in the database, so a report built on one device deploys on any device with no upgrade cycle to manage, and any IQ Plus report can also serve a personal dashboard.

How many reports come standard?

Every one of them can be modified in IQ Plus rather than treated as fixed.
Do users need software installed to build reports?
No. IQ Plus runs entirely through the browser, with the reporting engine on the server. Report definitions live in the database as XML, which removes the administrative burden of managing locally created reports and client-side report software.
Can a report drill down into the underlying records?
Yes. Drill-down hyperlinks are standard and link to related areas across the system, so a line on a report is a click away from the transactions behind it.
