VCC 2019: A Hole in One

By Katie Foley

The VISIBILITY team is settling back into the office following a great time at VCC 2019 in Hilton Head, SC. We'd like to first say a huge thank you to all our attendees. You truly made this conference one of our best yet - we loved learning alongside you, connecting with you in between sessions at and at meals, and listening to your questions, concerns, and feedback.

Following an optional golf outing on Wednesday morning, the three day conference kicked off with a cocktail reception outside at the Westin Hilton Head's Koi Pond Garden. Thursday morning we got down to business with our general session and the start of our educational sessions, collaborative sessions, open product lab, and speed consulting appointments.

During the general session we made some exciting announcements, including the availability of our latest release VISIBILITY 2019. One of our sessions also offered a look at two new products offered by Visibility - Schedule Advisor, our drag and drop, graphical scheduling application, as well as Access Point, a web-based offering that allows a new level of customer enablement and self-service. Lastly, we announced the coming of the customer forum that has been highly requested by many customers. We look forward to making this request a reality in the coming months.

Highlights from Thursday included a customer led presentation by ULVAC's Senior Director of Finance and Administration, Dave Sackett. Dave's presentation discussed how ULVAC uses VISIBILITY's user defined fields to track customer service. We learn so much from our customer's use of the system and this was a very informative session for anyone to attended. We also had our partner DocuPhase back as a sponsor for the 2nd consecutive year - thank you for DocuPhase for its support of our program. DocuPhase has been helping Visibility customers go paperless through their Robotic Process Automation software.

Thursday night's evening event took place on the 4th floor rooftop terrace at the Harbour Town Yacht Club. The venue was the perfect way to unwind from the full day of sessions and mingle with Visibility staff and customers while taking in the view of the red and white striped Harbour Town Lighthouse and listening to singer/songwriter Jordan Ross.

Friday morning offered another full day of sessions, lab time, and speed consulting. Customer Leon Lefebvre of Whipps, Inc. presented on Whipps' use of EBOMS and how to create, copy, or import them to enhance forecasting of long lead times. This hands on session was a great example of how our customers continue to evolve and improve their use of VISIBILITY.

Thank you again to all who joined us this year! A special shout out to our customer presenters and our sponsor DocuPhase. For those of you who didn't join us in Hilton Head, we hope you will join us next year! We hope to continue to grow and improve this program each year. News on VCC 2020 will be coming soon - stay tuned!
