Visibility’s ASMS system was designed to be thorough as well as intuitive so that users at your shelter can quickly incorporate its use and see performance. A comprehensive menu allows for straightforward navigation. Information can be retrieved efficiently with easy to use searches and narrowing filters. Drop-down menus limit classification choices to maintain consistency and the validity of your recordings. Displayed information is organized so that all relevant information can be viewed without having to scroll down. Required fields are highlighted, allowing for quick entry. Related information is always only a click away, formatted as tabs on the bottom of appropriate screens.
Integrated
ASMS does more than expedite recording information – it automates other shelter functions as well, allowing your shelter to integrate functions within one cohesive system.
Relationships
Users can create relationships between animals and people to help manage histories. When viewing animal information, users can choose to view linked people, whose relations to the animal may be that of past owner, adopter, complainant, etc. The system can also display people histories, viewing how many (different) animals to which a person has been linked.
Alerts
ASMS automatically monitors animal status so that when a user enters a match, the system alerts the user. For instance, if a stray animal being entered into the system matches an animal reported as missing, the system would inform the user.
Forms
Relevant forms and certificates automatically formatted for the selected case can be printed directly.
Configurable
Various types of users (officer, volunteer, administrator, etc.) can be set with different levels of access to the system information. For instance, an administrator could view detailed operations reports while a volunteer may view selected information only.
Petfinder.com Connection
Visibility recognizes Petfinder.com as a valuable resource many shelters use to find homes for animals. The ASMS system has an automated connection to this popular site. The system will automatically upload adoptable and missing animal files (including pictures) as well as download requests.
